D. R. Thorpe
D. R. Thorpe was born in 1943. He taught political history at Charterhouse for more than thirty years and is a former Archives Fellow of Churchill College, Cambridge and a former Fellow of Brasenose and St Anthony's Colleges, Oxford. His books include biographies of Selwyn Lloyd (1989) and Anthony Eden (2003).
